About the Editor
Originally from the Los Angeles area, Iris Green recently relocated to the Washington DC metro area to enjoy the historically rich and international flavor of the nation’s capital. Thus far in life, her career as a writer has unfolded from diverging worlds: the technical schematics of a career in systems acquisitions and her background in the literary arts. As an avid reader of women and chick lit, it has always been her dream to start a literary magazine.
A graduate of the California State University system, Iris holds a BA and MA in English. She lives with her fat cat Chloe, is twenty-something (on the late end), works full-time as a contract specialist supporting the government, and enjoys every moment working on this site. She has recently completed her first novel, When Branches Break, and is in the process of outlining the plot for her second novel. Her work has previously appeared in Moondance, The Pacific Review, The SN Review, and her work has been accepted for publication in the Wild Violet.
