1. What inspired you to write chick lit novels?

I started reading a lot of chick lit when I lived in New York and rode the subway a lot. After awhile, I got an idea for a book I'd like to write! Hollywood Car Wash was written last year, after many of friends in the industry told me horror stories and I decided they all needed to be put into a novel.

2. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?

I love reading, and have recently been getting into photography. I also love hanging out with my husband and our dog!

3. Out of all of the books you have written, which was the most fun to write and why?
Hollywood Car Wash was my favorite so far, but my next one (Reality Check) is turning out to be fun as well! Once you get going, people come out of the woodwork to tell you their stories, so that's always fun.

4. Are there any naughty episodes in your novels that mirror real life?

I will never, never tell!

5. What is your favorite time of the day: morning, afternoon, or night?

I'm a total night owl! I have to force myself to go to bed by 1:30am though, or else I'm totally wrecked the next day. If I could, I'd be a sleep-aholic.

6. If you could cast yourself as a character in one of your novels, who would it be?

Hmmm....that's a tough one. Maybe I'd want to be the TV star, but then again, maybe the savvy publicist. I have a lot of good ideas. :)

7. What did you do to celebrate the publishing of your first novel?

Hollywood party!

8. Is there anything you’d like to share with your readers?

I have a blog, at www.funnystrange.net , where readers can see what's going on with my books, read funny stuff that happens, and see photos!
